I was very disappointed in my visit to this library. I have been here multiple times to vote and never had any issues, but I had never stepped into the book section until today. A lady behind the counter stopped my husband and I to ask what service my dog performs ~ my small service dog was in a sling around my husband and is extremely quiet and well behaved. I told her that he is my emotional support animal. She replied that only "support dogs" are allowed in the library, and my husband and our dog could wait outside in the foyer. My dog IS a support animal. I offered to show my letter from my doctor (which no one should need to do), but she declined. I feel discriminated against for having a support dog. It is clear this woman does not understand the rights of the disabled and their support animals. She had no interest in helping us get into the library. We were obviously not welcome there. We immediately left, and will not be returning.
I frequently bring my children to this library for story time. Ms Carey, the children’s librarian, is the best in the business! I have yet to find another as talented, enthusiastic, energetic, and caring as she is. She truly has a passion for children that shows every time.
This library has everything you could want from a library and is well staffed with friendly and helpful staff. Ample parking and a playground next to it. Activities for the community and group special interest gatherings. Comfortable reading areas and outdoor social gathering tables. It is a gem for the community.
Very nice looking library, but I've never seen a location so crowded. I stopped by to pick up a hold because my regular branch is closed for renovation. The parking lot is a little awkward. There's a decent collection of books, audiobooks, and a kid's section, but being so busy made it feel claustrophobic. Thought this might be a nice alternative to visit sometimes but I'll just wait until GNW opens again.
This is a wonderful place. It is conveniently located by a park. The district 8 field office is located inside. There is a teen space, toddler/kid space and lots of computers. The facility itself is beautiful. And the resource space is very informative.
I came here today as they had a book sale. There was alot to choose from and the place is very clean. Lots of parking and wheelchair accessibility.
Library on the smaller side, but nice. I was there before noon on a Wednesday and there were quite a few families. Always great to see kids in a library! I used computers for internet and printing from net. No issues on anything. Staff was helpful with location of computers.
This is a terrific library. We go here from time to time to change things up. The kids book collection is good. Last time we went they even gave out free books to the kids. And they also had kids post their summer plans on the windows. It’s also connected to some nice trails.
